We are Freedom to Read Coalition of Columbia County

Fighting censorship in Columbia County libraries...

The Freedom to Read Coalition of Columbia County (FTRCCC) is a grassroots organization founded in March 2024 in the State of Georgia to protect and promote the right to read freely at public institutions. We advocate for intellectual freedom, resist censorship, and support equitable access to diverse and inclusive materials in libraries, schools, and other public spaces.

FTRCCC is organized and operates as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization under the Internal Revenue Code. In accordance with IRS requirements, we have filed Form 8976, Notice of Intent to Operate Under Section 501(c)(4), to formally notify the IRS of our intent to operate as a social welfare organization dedicated to serving the residents of Columbia County.
